CIVRO Visiting

CIVRO hosted an executive delegation from ARCHEBASE and the world-renowned architectural practice Kengo Kuma & Associates (Tokyo) (KKAA) at its headquarters on August 23, 2026.

The high-level gathering brought together visionaries across organic architectural design, global supply chain management, and sustainable environmental engineering. Among the distinguished delegation were Qingyi Song, Overseas Director of the China Cultural Promotion Association, Chairman of the Japan-China Environment Association, and President of GlobalFoster Co., Ltd.; Jun Shibata, Partner at Kengo Kuma & Associates (Tokyo), Founder of Shibata Architects, and Professor at Japan Women's University; and Sheng Wang, CEO of ARCHEBASE and Founder of Hangzhou Bujue Technology.

Other prominent participants included Zhiming Xie, Vice Chairman of the Interior Design Branch of the Architectural Society of China and Chairman of the Foshan Environmental Design Association; Yao Wang and Yese Song, Partners at ARCHEBASE; and Ziqiang Liang, Regional Head for South China at Hangzhou Bujue Technology.

The CIVRO executive team, led by Board Chairman Yonghan Tan, Retail Business Director Yongfeng Tan, Assistant to the Chairman & Head of Overseas Business Jingyi Leaf, and Overseas Sales Engineer Dantong Cai, warmly received the delegation for an immersive exchange centered on design philosophy, material technology, and international expansion.

Fusing Architectural Philosophy: Where Nature Meets Precision Engineering

At the heart of the dialogue was a deep alignment in design ethos. Kengo Kuma & Associates (KKAA) is internationally acclaimed for its concept of "anti-object" or "organic architecture" - an approach that seeks to erase the rigid boundaries between buildings and their surrounding environments through the thoughtful use of light, shadow, and natural materials.

This philosophy seamlessly echoes CIVRO’s core driving vision: fostering an authentic dialogue between architecture and nature. By engineering ultra-slim sightlines, maximum structural transparency, and exceptional thermal performance, CIVRO turns building envelopes from obstructive barriers into fluid channels that bring light, airflow, and landscape inside.

During the interactive showroom tour, Jun Shibata and the delegation closely evaluated CIVRO’s flagship minimal-frame window series, curtain wall systems, and thermally insulated courtyard entry systems. The discussion focused on how advanced engineering - such as ultra-narrow mullions, concealed hardware, and high-efficiency thermal breaks - can serve as the technical backbone for KKAA’s vision of ambient, light-filled, and environmentally harmonious spaces.

Strengthening Regional Footprint via the CIVRO Japan Operations Center

The roundtable session addressed strategic growth and supply chain integration across East Asia. A central focus of the conference was CIVRO’s ongoing internationalization strategy, highlighted by the official establishment of the CIVRO Japan Operations Center.

Operating as a strategic hub, the Japan Operations Center bridges CIVRO’s precision manufacturing capabilities with Japan’s rigorous engineering standards and refined architectural aesthetic. It enables direct, localized technical support for Japanese architects, structural consultants, and developers who require bespoke glazing solutions that meet strict building codes without compromising visual lightness.

"Architecture should not impose itself upon nature; rather, it should serve as a quiet framework that honors the surrounding landscape," said Jingyi Leaf, Head of Overseas Business at CIVRO. "KKAA’s dedication to organic integration inspires our engineering team. Through our dedicated Japan Operations Center and key supply chain partners like ARCHEBASE, we are committed to providing system solutions that allow architects to truly realize seamless human-nature connection."

The event concluded with a shared commitment between CIVRO, ARCHEBASE, and Kengo Kuma & Associates to explore long-term collaborative initiatives. By combining world-class architectural vision, streamlined international supply chains, and high-performance façade technology, the partners aim to shape sustainable, nature-inspired spaces for premium commercial and residential developments worldwide.
