Fenestration BAU China 2026

BEIJING, China - October 30, 2026 - Three days of conversations at FENESTRATION BAU China 2026 reinforced something CIVRO has been seeing across international markets: the demand for high-quality window and façade products is only part of the story.

Increasingly, partners are looking for something deeper—a reliable system, engineering support, digital tools and a supply chain that can help them build their own capabilities.

That was the central idea behind CIVRO's presence at FBC 2026 in Beijing.

Under the theme “From Products to Capabilities,” CIVRO presented its window and façade systems, iCIVRO Engine and broader approach to international collaboration at Booth E1.306.

The Conversation is Changing

At a traditional exhibition, the conversation often starts with the product.

What is the profile?

What sizes are available?

What hardware is used?

What is the price?

Those questions still matter.

But conversations with international visitors at FBC increasingly moved further upstream.

How can a local manufacturer introduce a higher-performance window system?

How quickly can a new product be adapted to a local market?

How can architects work with a system without being constrained by a catalogue?

How can design information move into production without being recreated several times?

And how can an overseas partner build a reliable supply chain around a system it can trust?

For CIVRO, these questions are a strong indication that the international window industry is moving toward a more integrated model of collaboration.

From Product Supply to System Capability

CIVRO's response is what it describes as a move from product export to capability export.

Instead of viewing international business simply as shipping finished windows or aluminium components into another country, CIVRO is developing a broader framework that combines system technology, engineering, digital tools, manufacturing resources and project support.

The idea is not to replace local partners. It is to make local partners stronger.

A fabricator can use CIVRO's system technology while developing local production capabilities.

A distributor can access a broader system portfolio and technical support.

An architect can work with a system that connects design intent with engineering requirements.

A project team can work within a more structured process from specification through delivery.

This model creates a different kind of relationship between manufacturer and partner.

iCIVRO®Engine: Connecting the Information Behind the System

One of the key demonstrations at FBC 2026 was iCIVRO Engine.

The proprietary platform is designed around a simple principle: information should not become fragmented as a project moves from design to manufacturing.

A window system contains a large amount of information.

Profiles.

Hardware.

Glass.

Dimensions.

Performance requirements.

Machining.

Bill of materials.

Pricing.

Production information.

When these elements are disconnected, every additional step creates opportunities for errors and unnecessary work.

iCIVRO Engine is designed to connect these elements through a digital workflow, helping turn system configuration into usable information for quotation, engineering and manufacturing. For CIVRO, this is an important part of making system technology accessible to partners beyond the company's own production environment.

International Standards Are Part of The Conversation

FBC also provided an opportunity to discuss how window systems need to respond to different regional requirements.

A product designed for one market cannot simply be assumed to perform the same way everywhere.

Climate, building regulations, performance expectations and construction practices vary. CIVRO's international development therefore incorporates a range of standards and certifications, including AAMA, AS 2047, DIN EN 14351-1:2016-12 and SNZ TS 4211, together with Passive House-related recognition and membership of the Australian Glass & Window Association.

These references provide a technical foundation for CIVRO's work with partners in different markets. They also reflect a broader principle: global expansion should begin with understanding local requirements, not simply moving an existing product from one country to another.

The Value of Face-to-Face Conversations

Technology can connect teams across borders. But exhibitions still do something digital platforms cannot fully replace. They put engineers, architects, manufacturers, developers and business leaders around the same table.

During FBC 2026, CIVRO's booth became a meeting point for conversations ranging from system design and manufacturing to international market development. Some discussions started with a product detail. Others began with a much bigger question: what would it take to build a better local window system business? Those are the conversations CIVRO wants to continue after the exhibition.

The Exhibition Ends. The Work Continues

FBC 2026 may have closed its doors on October 30, but for CIVRO, the exhibition marks the beginning of a new round of conversations with international partners.

The company's direction is becoming increasingly clear.

The future of international window-system business will not be defined only by how many products can be exported.

It will also be defined by how much capability can be shared.

From products to systems.

From systems to capabilities.

From suppliers to partners.

That is the conversation CIVRO is taking beyond FBC 2026.
