In modern cities where towering concrete structures dominate the horizon, finding serenity can feel like a distant dream. Yet in this prestigious project - Yinhai Changyuan, one residence stands out as a testament to the power of design that embraces nature, simplicity, and soul. At the heart of this transformation lies a collaboration between forward-thinking designers and CIVRO, a brand known globally for its high-end windows, doors, and façade systems.

This project is not just about architecture. It is about life itself. Through thoughtful design choices and the innovative use of CIVRO products, the residence delivers a pure, tranquil living experience—where the presence of one central tree in the courtyard becomes the very soul of the space.

Design Philosophy: Returning to the Essence of Living

The designers behind this home were driven by a simple yet profound ambition: to strip away excess and return to the purity of living. “Our goal was not to add more, but to remove the unnecessary,” explains the lead designer. “In doing so, what remains is authenticity—the essence of life itself.”

In this pursuit of simplicity, every detail was carefully considered. The materials, the flow of light, the connection to the outdoors—all converge to create an environment that is calm, liberating, and deeply human.

CIVRO Solutions: Elevating the Experience of Space

To achieve this vision, the project made extensive use of CIVRO’s most refined systems. The CIVRO-ORAMA minimal frame electric sliding doors became the defining feature, with glass surfaces covering up to 90% of their structure. The result is breathtaking: seamless views of the courtyard tree, natural light flooding into the living space, and a sense of openness that dissolves the barrier between indoors and outdoors.

In addition, CIVRO XVE65IN ventilation windows and XW65IN tilt-and-turn windows with integrated glass balustrades were incorporated. These products not only elevate the façade with clean, minimalist lines but also ensure functionality and safety without compromising aesthetics. Finished in CIVRO’s signature MED Obsidian Black, the windows and doors embody a timeless sophistication that frames the natural scenery like living artwork.

“When I look at the tree through the slim sliding doors, I feel peace wash over me. It’s as if the windows and doors don’t exist, only the tree and the life it represents. CIVRO helped us create a home that feels alive.”

The Tree as a Spiritual Centre

At the core of the residence is the courtyard tree, symbolising vitality and hope. It is not simply an ornamental feature—it is the home’s soul. By designing around it, the architect ensured that the tree would be visible from multiple vantage points, reinforcing the theme of life within the residence.

The minimal frame sliding doors and expansive glazing turn this tree into a constant companion for the inhabitants. As the seasons change, the views shift, offering endless inspiration and grounding the family in the rhythms of nature. The space becomes more than just a house—it becomes a sanctuary.

A Testament to Human-Centred Design

CIVRO’s products play more than a structural role—they shape how people feel in their living spaces. By prioritising simplicity, openness, and connection to nature, the residence achieves something many urban homes lack: balance.

The designer summarised it beautifully: “True luxury is not about complexity or excess. It is about purity. CIVRO’s windows and doors allowed us to let the house breathe, to let the tree speak, and to let the family find peace in the midst of the city.”

In an age where the pace of life continues to accelerate, spaces like this remind us of what truly matters: serenity, authenticity, and connection to life itself. By blending advanced technology with a minimalist design philosophy, CIVRO has proven once again why it is the preferred choice for architects and homeowners seeking not just performance, but meaning.
