CIVRO has officially unveiled its systems for contemporary interiors: the AMAZA® Ultra-Narrow Interior Door System. Built on a refined 16mm visible sightline, AMAZA® merges minimal structural framing with high-performance engineering, offering designers, fabricators, and property owners a fresh take on how interior spaces connect and divide.
Beyond pure aesthetics, the AMAZA® platform introduces a dual supply model tailored to different market demands. CIVRO is making the system available as both fully assembled, ready-to-install units and complete technical output packages - including extruded profiles, specialized hardware, and systemic accessories - for local fabricators.
The Philosophy: Less Frame, Deeper Spatial Connection
Minimalism in modern architecture is often misunderstood as simple reduction. With AMAZA®, the focus shifts away from stripping down elements for the sake of it, toward giving people a clearer, less cluttered experience of their surrounding space.
Transitioning from a conventional 30mm profile down to an ultra-thin 16mm frame is not merely a matter of shaving off aluminum. It demands structural precision. Reducing the sightline by nearly half while maintaining structural integrity requires deep engineering expertise. CIVRO drew directly from its 30-year legacy in exterior facade engineering to ensure that AMAZA® retains stiffness, smooth operation, and long-term durability despite its delicate frame.
"A frame should define a boundary, not construct a wall," says the lead system designer at CIVRO. "At 16mm, the door frame becomes an architectural line rather than a physical barrier. It lets light move across room boundaries naturally."
Dual Supply Strategy: Built for Fabricators, Designers, and Project Delivery
Recognizing the diverse operational models within the global door and window industry, CIVRO structured the AMAZA® release around two distinct commercial tracks:
1. Profile & System Output (For Processing Plants & Fabricators)
For window and door manufacturing plants with established local production lines, AMAZA® is available as raw material output (profiles only) or a complete system package (profiles, specialized hardware, gaskets, and assembly hardware).
Cost Control & Higher Margins: Purchasing system components directly allows local plants to handle cutting, machining, and glass assembly in-house. This cuts down international freight costs on glass and heavy assemblies, significantly lowering total COGS and increasing overall profit margins.
System Integrity: Fabricators receive full technical support, machining guidelines, and routing specifications to ensure every locally assembled door matches CIVRO’s factory standard.
2. Turnkey Finished Products (For Dealers, Architects, & Direct Projects)
For interior designers, real estate developers, dealers, and private clients who need rapid on-site execution without local manufacturing, AMAZA® is supplied as a pre-assembled, factory-tested finished product.
Plug-and-Play Delivery: Complete units arrive ready for straightforward installation, reducing jobsite labor time and eliminating local fabrication errors.
Guaranteed Quality: Every factory-finished unit undergoes comprehensive quality control for alignment, hardware operation, and surface coating consistency before dispatch.
Technical Versatility and Custom Configuration
The AMAZA® platform handles various interior layouts, supporting wide openings, pocket doors, room dividers, and standard interior entries.
Motion and Tracking Variations
Sliding Systems: Available in 2-track (2-panel or 4-panel) and 4-track setups. Floor tracking includes a 21mm flat track, a 23mm beveled track, and a 38mm flat architrave profile.
Top-Hung & Synchronized Systems: Floor-guide-free 4-track top-hung synchronized systems clear up floor space entirely, creating smooth visual flow between rooms.
Automated Driving Options: High-end commercial or residential spaces can be fitted with Maglev (Magnetic Levitation) single tracks or standard motorized single tracks for whisper-quiet automated opening.
Swing & Pivot Formats: AMAZA supports single-cased and double-cased swing doors (supporting both inward and outward opening), as well as dramatic center-pivot and offset-pivot designs for larger feature openings.
Surface Craftsmanship and Material Aesthetics
Finishes are applied using the same high-durability techniques CIVRO uses on its exterior facade systems. This prevents fading, chipping, or wear under heavy daily use.
MED Surface Series: Platinum Grey (C001), Obsidian Black (C005), Brushed Bronze (W021), and Brushed Iron Grey (W24).
Specialty Powder & Texture Finishes: Moonlight White (W25) powder coating and Walnut Wood Grain (W26) via heat transfer film.
Glass Material Options: Standard single clear glass, high-clarity ultra-clear reeded glass, Euro grey tinted glass, frosted grey glass, custom "Rhythmic Life" architectural glass, and double-sided silk mesh laminated glass.
